Where will you see my clients?

I am happy to discuss this if you have any preferences but they will be either seen in your practice, or at your local gym depending on their needs.

How do I know you will care for my clients?

I treat each client as though they were my family, my grandmother, my mother, my brother or my son. I put time, effort and the latest research into each of my consults so that your and my clients get the best possible care.

Will you lock my clients in for long terms?

Each client that I see is always very different to the one before and as such my care plan will vary from client to client. You cna be assured that my primary goal is to get the client to be able to self care, progress and manage their conditions and depending on the complexity, the number of consultts varies.

My clients have some rare conditions, will you be able to look after them?

Without sounding morbid, the more complex your clients conditions, the more I enjoy helping them. This is what my qualification was created for, helping those that don't know how to exercise safely, exercise. I have handled in the past all levels of metabolic conditions, rare cardiac diseases, muscular diseases and end stage pulmonary cases. I have hda the pleasure of working with those that have different neurological conditions and witnessed the rewards of thier inclusion of exercise into thier routines.

My clients have don't like exercise, I have tried everything!

This is a common trend I have seen in private practice. With these clients, my focus is on behaviour change. Making exercise simple, easy to achieve, and seemlessly intergrate into thier lives. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help those that are struggling to start exercising.

There is some fear with starting exercise, how do you help with this?

Fear of exercise and of gyms is very common. There are many different starting methods into exercise and those particular fears can be avoided with the right strategies.

Mr X just wants to lose weight, can you help?

I rarely have a client that doesn't want to lose weight and as you know the inclusion of exercise into their routine begins that negative energy balance. My clients that I have seen in the last 3 years have on average lost 1.1kg of weight in the first month.

Do you write reports?

Yes! Reports are crutial to us both being on the same page when it comes to the clients care.

What goes into your reports?

I keep my reports to two sections, a detailed account of the consultation and a concise summary. This allows the best of both worlds with the time saving summary but if you have the time you also have the chance to delve deeper into what happened in our consultation.
